This is the first timed chapter. One explorer is locked inside an electrical execution room and must escape before the machine discharges.

Understand the execution machine

  • The trapped explorer sees a dangerous sphere and wiring on the ceiling.
  • Eight colored components are available on the left and right sides of the room, with a lever in the center.
  • There are six component sockets. Two sockets already contain components at the start.
  • The six sockets are linked by the wiring visible on the ceiling.
  • The second explorer's room contains the clue that determines the component order.

Determine the component order

  1. The second explorer reads the sequence clue exactly as shown.
  2. Use the two components already installed in the execution room to identify the starting position and direction.
  3. The trapped explorer traces the ceiling wire from its beginning to its end and reports each socket in that order.
  4. Combine the remote clue, the two fixed components, and the ceiling-wire order to choose the four missing components.
  5. Install all six components. Only after both explorers verify the sequence should the trapped player pull the center lever to open the escape door.

Exact capsule order

The reverse visual order is Blue/Blue → Red/Blue → Yellow only → Yellow/Green → Blue only → Red/Green. Use the live and unlit ends of the ceiling wire to determine which direction you are reading. Two capsules are already installed, so replace only the four empty positions. Pull the center lever and exit before the descending sphere reaches the water.

  1. Starting at the live end of the ceiling wire, install or confirm Red/Green.
  2. Next is Blue only.
  3. Next is Yellow/Green.
  4. Next is Yellow only.
  5. Next is Red/Blue.
  6. The final socket is Blue/Blue.
