04 Chapter four · The bridge to Castle Rock

The castle is close, but the valley hides the connection. The team must turn separated clues into a working bridge rather than solving two isolated rooms.

Castle Rock is visible across a ravine, but there is no permanent bridge. One player works at the control board while the other reports and crosses the bridge tiles.
Build and lock the bridge
- Take the right-hand path into the dark cave and pull the lever on the left to power the bridge board.
- The board operator arranges the celestial pieces into one unbroken line. The bridge explorer steps only after the matching segment rises and locks.
- Never drag a symbol that is part of the active line while the explorer is standing on its bridge segment; breaking the line lowers the bridge.

Exact celestial-symbol chains
The ringed-planet symbol is sometimes described as Jupiter or Saturn in community guides. Identify it by its visible ring rather than relying on the planet name.
- First chain: center Star → Sun → Moon → Ringed Planet → Three Stars → Universe.
- Cross in that order. After Three Stars, take the LEFT branch to Universe and wait on the Universe platform.
- Rebuild the board from the explorer's new position: Universe → Three Stars → Comet → Eclipse → Moon → Sun.
- Cross the second chain to reach Castle Rock. Keep the completed line intact until the explorer is standing on solid ground.
Open the castle for both explorers
The castle gate is locked when the first explorer finishes crossing, and the bridge disappears behind them. Climb the stairs on the right and turn the helm, then enter the door behind it to continue.
Turning the helm restores the bridge and opens the castle gate. It also seals the helm floor behind a barrier. The control-board explorer can now cross the restored bridge and enter through the newly opened gate.
